Investment is anything that the Municipality can build or buy, of which the duration is of more than one year. Every investment proposal must improve the municipality and its 8 districts.
Investments are:
- Construction (equipment or small infrastructures)
- Urban furniture and infrastructures
- Refurbishment, renovation, expansion, adaptation, improvement, and technologic equipment or furniture for public facilities.
- Redevelopment and improvement of public spaces
Investments are not:
- Personnel costs
- Public procurement in order to provide services
- Interventions in non-public spaces/sites
- Purchase of non-inventory materials
- Consultancy and research
- Development of projects or programmes
- Grants, prizes, grant agreements or subsidies
- Hiring of equipment or infrastructures
- Maintenance, preservation or cleaning of infrastructure, furniture, gardens and vehicles.
